Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can't you just do a demo of your product during these interviews?

Or just do both. You can have a main blog and a tumblr account, have a personal blog and do guest posts on other blogs, or even write both kind of posts on the same blog. A couple years ago, getting RSS subscribers was the holy grail of blo

I know bashing PayPal is cliché by now, but its UI is seriously one of the worst I've seen for an internet service. Everything loads extremely slowly, and every action is buried inside multiple layers of navigation, which only compounds the

I think the reason there aren't more themes is the sheer quantity of work involved in styling all the bootstrap elements.

Here's the original thread on HN where I asked if anybody needed design advice: http://news.ycombinator.org/item?id=3548461 It took me 131 days, but I finally came through!

I don't see domains like .movies or .brand-name working at all. On the other hand, new two-letters domain could be useful. Like .ng ("runnin.ng"), .ay ("pl.ay"), etc. But I don't know if those are included in the new tlds?

The only problem I could see would be if Amazon sales were cannibalizing other avenues, leading to a lower overall profit. But I'm sure even if this is the case, Amazon's volume more than makes up for it. So yes, this rant is pretty pointle

IconFinder is a great site, very happy for them! And it's got a lot of potential beyond merely being a search engine.

Congratulations! And good job on tracking your sales closely, it's interesting to see how many sales you got from your guest post on A Smart Bear. Another thing you did better than me is the mailing list, I don't even have one… But I'll fix

The way Sortfolio works is that designers and agencies pay to be listed on the site. But if you build a good following on Dribbble, you'll start receiving new job offers every week. So why would you pay $99 a month for Sortfolio? This means

That may be true as well, but I feel like it's easy to resort to blaming the customer as "cheap" or "demanding". Again this is all speculation, but I think the fact someone is ready to pay for your product at all already means they value
