I wonder why he warned him and pulled back so hard on detail. I wonder why Sam pressed him to put it in writing.

What? In theory, the bankruptcy team are the "good guys" because they are working on behalf of the creditors, not because they are at odds with SBF. SBF is who put SBF in the position of being at odds with customers.

The point isn't the size of the trade; the point is that smart money might follow Alameda, and so news that Alameda is "shorting" Tether might, on its own, be enough for CZ to ask that Sam stop. What's not being pointed

Called Sales. Sales said no. Asked why. "You're not a business." "I'm a sole proprietor." "Fine, email gcteam@google.com and wait up to 24 hrs" emails gcteam@google.com, it bounces Amazing

Yeah, and I totally get the quota request process. Any GCP user is familiar with providing a basis for your quota request, etc. But I'm not even able to file a request. It just says to call sales for any limit above "0". Lol.

Specifically, we're talking about one (1) instance with 16 VCPUs, preemptible. That's where the ceiling is. In a non-exotic region with high capacity. If you pay up front for the server, no problem. Obviously, open source projects

The idea that a "bank run" caused this is just silly. FTX is not a bank.

furthermore i would love to know why this demands a partisan lens when the whole of FTX was clearly co-mingling funds; the line between SBF's "personal" contributions and FTX's broader contributions as a network is likel

that we know of, at this time, sure. something isn't exploitable until you find an exploit, and then it's exploitable. knowing file paths for key configs on disk can't possibly help that equation.

leaking info about your site / app is only benign until a motivated attacker finds and exploits it aside from being a potential security risk, it is downright embarrassing and sloppy, especially for a multi-billion $ company with a lea

Coinbase is under investigation, listed tons of shxtcoins and probably helped employees pump them. I don't know if I would defend them in light of what happened at FTX. That being said, nobody wants to see a true white knight in Crypto
