You are either a duck or a swan. They are similar. But not the same. Neither is essentially better. It doesn't matter how you define them. The only important aspect is that once you realise you are one and not the other you know you do

Glad I'm not alone. This frustrated me completely. But if their use case is twice a day or similar it makes sense. Why care about compilation time at all if its seen as that rare? Other opinions exist.

I buy all sorts of fine parts off ebay/aliexpress. A lot from China. No issues so far. All work within expectations. But I'd never base a product on any of them. Nor go fine tolerance / high expectation either. Not without ve

Especially when the downvotes are blatantly because someone disagreed and the grayed out comment is actually interesting, or the comment is actually a question that shouldn't have been downvoted at all.

This puzzles me. Why don't they just recompile the projects to ARM and go with fat binaries? Stop emulating things. It wastes power. Plus the compiler toolchain already exists.

I'll put tape over the camera. Apple can't reasonably provide guarantees about the camera. I have reasonable doubt they can't provide privacy around that camera with the current designs. This is true even if the indicator lig

"You can ignore every single need a pet has and just put them in a bag" No, you actually can't. You can only do this if you switch off massive sections of the common brain modules for "reasonable functioning human".

I think you'll have a deeper appreciation of the issues when you make an honest attempt at a python-to-C compiler yourself. The result you will get will be full of compromises and trade-offs. Other attempts like Cython already exist. P

Sounds like your approach to work might be the problem. Mix it up. Pick a simple side project and start then finish it. Doesn't even need to be software. The act of finishing it is the important part. During a funk in my 20s I went int

Do something else. Perhaps away from IT. Do that for a month. Volunteer in your local community. Then come back. Your outlook will be different. Realign with purpose. Update purpose if necessary.
