Your reply is confusing. So you maintain that most people are stupid, and still want to give them voting rights. What is the logic behind that? To clarify, I don’t think most people are stupid, and I advocate for direct democracy.

I looked up the Swiss system, and it certainly is not direct democracy.

Then we need to fix the apparent problem of idiot majority. If you say most people are stupid why would you want them to vote every 4 years. Can you trust their vote? Do you still advocate for the current form of “democracy”? Maybe we shoul

There is no democracy other than direct democracy. If you cant fire your government this afternoon, they own you, not the other way around.

Except the government is a monopoly with its own agenda. In addition it already kind of owns us (well a large percentage), what would it gain if it negotiated this deal for us? I would argue it can gain more power by making a deal with face

But then cash, gold, stocks are all better options to hold, since you lose the only apparent benefit of crypto.

Even if you want patents to exist (which i don't believe in), but lets say for whatever reason they are necessary. there is no reason the government should run this program. They are a monopoly and should not get a say in how someones

But all your income is meant to be spent. All people invest so they get to buy more in the future, not for the sake of it. If you don’t pay VAT today, you will in the future.

Is vat not a tax? I think every government cost that is a percentage of income or spending should be calculated as your expense for the government. I think inflation also should be kept in mind as it is a hidden tax. Maybe harder to calcula

Ok, so people are too stupid to decide for themselves. In that case can we trust their “chosen” leaders? You know they may be too stupid to pick a good leader too. Monarchy sound good?

Well it is very hard to argue against this. Do you mean to say that people should not be able to decide what is more important to them so that resources can be appropriately allocated?

The percentage was just a wild guess. Its just that some resources need to be allocated to covid and the rest should continue as usual. That could be up to free market to decide, not me or you or some almighty “leaders”.

Totally agree. I think we have been warned more than enough. You afraid? Stay at home and lock down. (Didn’t stay home and) got sick? Your problem if no space is available. Split hospitals 50% covid and continue the rest as usual with limit

I also had a similar coin/currency idea to share with every human equally, but could not come with a good plan to distribute it, besides after carefully thinking this would not be truly necessary, because if people are free, productive

Presumably a lot worse than bitcoin to zero. And crypto fans get to advertise infinite percentage growth even if its value is a few pennies of todays dollars. But at least you can burn todays paper dollars. Cannot do that to bitcoin.

If btc goes to zero a lot of stuff may have to happen, why do you think it would be so attractive to you then? Think of it this way: Are you rushing to buy forks that are dropping to zero now?
