But the CCP is not our government, and at least it can mean that your government knows less about you. In the old East Germany, it wasn't a problem that the CIA knew everything about you. It was that the Stasi did.

So, it's like we, the good guys, can decide to extract and burn fossil fuels as long as we want, but once we say enough is enough, everybody else must also stop doing what we have been doing for ages.

Does being a democracy make the US a better country than the others? If it's the voters, and not a guy, who decides to invade and take over your country, then is it OK? And while none of those countries may be involved in a military co

And who do we buy oil/gas from? Venezuela? Iran? Saudi Arabia? United States? I don't see a reason why those countries are better than Russia.

Ukraine is not a member of the EU, so I can't see why being an European country would make any difference. Furthermore, does the fact that Iraq is not an European country mean that we shouldn't care about things like girls being r

I've yet to see similar censorship in the EU when the propaganda comes from its allies, like the US. Nobody in the EU tried to keep me away from the lies the United States used to invade Iraq back in 2003. So, no, you can say this is d

Just try to search "Russia Today" in Google, Bing, DDG, whatever, from inside the EU, and you'll see. Do you know what you'll get within the first results? Fox news, for example.

Well, the EU mandated that search engines manipulate their search results too. So I guess it's indeed that they dislike Yandex/Russia, not that they dislike biased search results.

I was not talking about EU-based search engines, I was talking about search engines not applying censorship that I can use from the EU. And as far as I know, DDG is not EU-based either. Brave Search, just to give one example.

I'm in the EU, yes, but I don't understand that either. Because there are search engines, freely available in the EU, that didn't honour that questionable request about banning websites. So, for me, DDG is hiding some results
