100% true, although the opinion is unpopular in this forum. In the end, this is rewarding some very bad people just because they oppose somebody (supposedly) even worse. But that doesn't have anything to do with "peace". This

What move, you mean about the drones? I first want to be sure about what happened. Remember that few years ago you were still being labeled as "Russian propaganda" if you had doubts about the NS incident.

Thank God they didn't. Java could be another abandoned Google project now. OTOH I don't think anybody can say anything bad about what Oracle did and is doing with Java.

Thanks for the explanation. In case FILE was opaque in glibc, would the same test (including <stdio.h> and declaring a variable of type FILE) also fail with the unknown storage size error? If so, would linking again some library (-l)

Forgive my ignorance in this topic, but if "stdio.h" itself includes "bits/types/struct_FILE.h", is anything preventing me from accessing the individual elements of FILE as they are defined in the latter header

The definition of struct _IO_FILE seems to be inside `bits/types/struct_FILE.h`, and goes like this: struct _IO_FILE { int _flags; ... so I suppose this means it's indeed expanded somewhere and, thus, not opa

Out of curiosity. If we have this inside `bits/types/FILE.h` in Linux/GNU, does it mean the type is opaque? ... struct _IO_FILE; /* The opaque type of streams. This is the definition used elsewhere. */

Russia is not the Soviet Union , except when we need to talk things like the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia or all the other horror stories about the USSR. Then it was indeed Russia, and Ukraine was just a kidnapped state.

I wasn't asking about capabilities. I asked the user if he believed Russia has the right to attack EU countries providing weapons to Ukraine, possibly causing civilian deaths, just as he thinks Israel had the right to do so in regard

Would you think the same if, for example, Russia started attacking manufacturers in the EU that supply weapons to Ukraine?

In Ubuntu, it's also possible to ditch Firefox from the snap store and install it using apt-get. Not from Ubuntu's repo, but from the official Firefox Debian repository: https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/04

Yes, but what's your point? It's not that we can take this new Postgres version and just compile it in a Windows machine supporting IORing, can we? It requires some effort and time -many times by volunteers- and given that most Po

A little off-topic, but is it usual in C++ to have a header (.h) and a source (.cpp) where the attributes and most of the methods are identical in both files, but with some more methods in the header file?

Yes, I guess this is the first time. Until now, the US would usually invade a country themselves to take their natural resources. This time they're just asking politely. Seems to me to be an improvement.

I assume your country is the US, but... when has the US cared about anybody to begin with? Trump may be a lot of things, but at least he's not fooling people.

Usually, the war can not be stopped just by taking a flight to the side that's initiating it and telling them to stop. We need more than that.

Why not? We're already in union with the US, which also invades other countries when it feels like it, and nobody sees that as a problem. If anything, we should get along better with Russia because we share frontiers.
