Chromebooks also do auto updates, and do it such a way that typical non technical end user finds it difficult to turn off permanently. That's a good thing too.

It is "CertplusRoot CA G1" in my system too. This CA was added recently ( http://www.infoworld.com/article/2941594/security/microsoft-... ).
