I've read about 50% and really like it so far. Also, limiting width and centering text from JS console greatly improved the readability: $('main').style.width = '600px'; $('main').style.margin =

Mass market product would have a different design, intended for manufacturing at scale. This design is intended for DIY, mass producing with DIY-intended design is too expensive (see Ergodox as an example).

Prototypes discover constraints, docs document them (as well as what problem is being solved, what solution was chosen under those constraints and what are consequences).

"Many-world interpretation" is just a religion, it has nothing to do with physics. Pilot Wave is an example of a physical theory, Copenhagen is an administrative agreement.

Regular Clojure relies on JVMs ability to load classes at runtime. Can Go VM do that?

I'm optimistic about current quantum computers, because they are a tool to study wave function collapse. I hope that they will help to understand the relation between the number of particles and a time how long a system can stay in ent

What's the point? If you install from source, the idea is to build on your own machine and review/test the code. Gtihub releases don't even have minimal review scripts that Play Store does.

Coverage metric can tell if lines of code were executed, but they can't tell if execution result was checked.

Very well written. I assume you haven't read "Simulacra and Simulation" by Jean Baudrillard, that's why your description is so authentic and is more convincing then just referring to the book. Saved this post for future

What you can do is separate interpretation from observation as much as possible.

My favorite contemporary physicist is doing a mundane job at NASA and does all the interesting theoretical research as a side project. I think this should be the default.

Haskell is an experiment on having laziness at language level. This experiment clearly shows, that laziness on language level is a bad idea. You can get all the benefits of laziness at standard library level, as illustrated by Clojure and Tw

Clojure the language has a built-in state management model, which this project attempts to apply to game development. The best way to learn about this model IMO is to watch the talk 'Are we there yet' by Rich Hickey (author of Clo

The key idea behind Clojure data structures is that they are immutable, but don't require a full copy on update, because an updated version partly reuses the initial version. The data structure that enables this is called HAMT (hash ar

The problem that Microsoft is solving is promotion of VsCode and Visual Studio. Making LSP small and easy to implement would go against that. They want LSP to work well only in their IDEs. Yes, this makes implementing LSP for languages hard

I've read the paper, those objects have all properties of AGNs, but since having AGNs so early doesn't fit current mainstream, authors try very hard to come up with a different explanation.

In globular clusters stars tend to have similar age in terms of main sequence progression. If most of the stars approach their brightest phase, the cluster will be extremely bright relative to its mass.
