I'd say war-grade amphetamine, adults taking amphetamines maybe, US air force still give that in some circumstances, but giving amphetamines to an hyperactive kid to calm him down, is just mind-blowing.

Literally, nothing good, the chore of Google business is losing ground, Chrome losing more and more users in favor of Edge, Google search taking a hit since OpenAI and Microsoft partnered together to bring AI to search, serial acquisition a

I'm not talking about Supabase Clippy, but more about training models on copyrighted data without asking for permission (like private copyrighted code in GitHub for example and yes, I don't call that fair use)

I think for code it will be pretty hard, unless the writer gives explicit permission to train the model on the copyrighted data, like the case for Copilot in GitHub. And I don't think it is fair use at all, imagine a company like OpenA

Sorry for my ignorance, it is that hard for the concurrence to come up with something as good as chatgpt? I’m thinking about Google and the other giants.

For me, it's the tsConfig part, it gets more and more complicated, especially when you work with monorepos, the lack of full config examples in the official doc, they just give you properties and explanation, you have to mix and match

Nothing prevent you from writing mixed paradigms code with TS as well, you still can mix functional and OOP, factory and direct modification to prototype chain, all that and more..

For serverless with AWS Lambda, ironically enough, Python is the fattest runtime, and the language that makes more sense, since lambdas are small functions.

I disagree, Github copilot makes me happy, helps a lot with guessing patterns in my own project base code, I just write the good function name and he guess what I want to do.

You'll export a function from your esModule if you want to inject export const myFn = (...deps) => You don't need anything else, for encapsulation you have the EsModule, that what OP meant.

Are you seeing any decorator or OOP style in React? Yet plenty of dependencies are automatically injected without the OOP jargon, if you want to see a pure JS example of auto DI go check angular 1.5 dep system, and Vuejs.

Agree for the OOP part, most devs doing the transition from Java,C# to TypeScript are using the tool to port what they learned and apply it to a JS project and projects like Angular are encouraging this by enabling experimental stuff like d
