I have noticed that people intuitively use unix philosophy _inside_ their programs. Not often you see well written software with functions that do not respect the unix philosophy (if only they would be programs and not functions).

It is clearly meant for use. Those two things are not in contradiction and it's quite often that good software is spoiled with bad license. If you have to know, the secret is not to respect the made up license. Pls give downvote, copyi

Let's see again when you actually enforce this by law and we can really talk about "rule". You could still argue that you endanger others by not doing 1000 other precautions, like going to medical school so you can use ballpo

Imo it's okay because there is no expectation of people doing everything they can for other people. You could argue that people that don't go to medical school risk lives of the others.
