It also mentions: > By default, the build options generate only the Apache License 2.0 binaries. So, it seems like the proprietary builds are for the managed services that they host themselves, which makes sense.

Kapitan sounds interesting. It definitely looks difficult to figure out. Even your blog post only gives me a hint, leaving me with lots of questions. I am going to o dig deeper.

I've been using Hetzner for many years. I've had a couple maintenances on baremetal servers over the last several years. Otherwise, the only down time has been self inflicted.

I've read about more than a few issues running Linux on a 10th gen Thinkpad X1 Carbon. So, I'd recommend a 9th gen. My 9th gen has been running amazingly.

I only recently had this same thought. It's making me think hard about how to reorganize all of these services I have set up for my family.

I mentioned this above, but I believe that the killer feature would be integrating with one or more existing front end CI/CD systems so that the dag created by dagger automatically maps to e.g. the pipeline steps of a Jenkins blueocean

What I'd like to see is integrations with existing systems. If I could somehow automatically map stages in dagger to the stages in a Jenkins pipeline, this would be ideal.
