If you live in a city that has it, then a good meal at a Michelin Star restaurant is a very worthwhile and achievable luxury. Go somewhere with a tasting menu (small plates). I’m happy that the author was able to experience it. In the Unite

This is a really good article and I highly recommend reading through it. It collects a lot of great info in one place.

Side note but this is the first time I’ve seen reddit comments embedded in the same manner as tweets. I really like it! I’ve always thought of reddit and twitter as fulfilling very similar niches.

Fun fact: Firefox was the first program I ever compiled. I’d just finished an online Python class and wanted to get involved in this open-source thing. Mozilla had some Python tasks but they still required a dev build of the browser. I was

Python is based on mainly on statements rather than expressions, and lambdas can’t have multiple statements, so writing lambdas is different from writing normal Python code. In a very real sense, there is no idiomatic way to write complex l

This is very similar to what I say: “I work in software at a finance company”. I do C++ programming, not data science, but again that’s not something that the average person cares about.
