Looks neat! I don't have much use for this right now but I did some work with gem5 years ago and this seems to solve some real pain points. Congrats on shipping!

This looks really useful. gdb has limited support for listing and evaluating macros if you compile with -g3 but this goes far beyond that.

I'm honestly not really sure how it went down. It's possible that XNU (the macOS kernel) was simply developed before FreeBSD Jails were developed, and they never put in the engineering effort to port over the feature. I don't

Speaking in general, one reason not to use macOS for servers is that the macOS kernel does not provide all of the necessary APIs for containerization. A container is a combination of a restricted filesystem (e.g. chroot), separate namespace

Probably. To be honest I just find it convenient to use a French press as a cold brew maker and first-pass filter, because it is IMO easier to keep clean than a nut milk bag or coffee sock.

I suspect that many quietly effective employees are doing something like that, and that it is a smart way to increase the performance of yourself and your team. I also suspect that it is not possible to share the metrics, and that you would

I like this thought but note that it would no longer technically be a DAG if you allowed editing earlier comments to link to later comments.

I am curious how the bollards were deadly to the cyclists (I'm not saying I disagree, I just don't understand the mechanism). Maybe they were just going a lot faster than I'm thinking of? The primary bike path that I use for

See also Circle: https://www.circle-lang.org/ I don’t think it’s available yet, but last I heard that dev is working on a borrow checker for C++ as well.

It is possible to synthesize an English voice with a 1.5MB model using http://cmuflite.org/ or some of the Apple VoiceOver voices, which is just crazy to me. Most of the model is diphone samples for pairs of phonemes. I don
