My brand like that is ASUS. A few friends and I bought ASUS laptops for college and all of them broke within a year and a half. Mine suddenly stopped turning on at the same time as I heard a rattling noise inside, so my theory is that something came unglued or unscrewed and bounced around inside. And so now my personal rule is: if it’s ASUS, then it’s trash. They made sure that the technical specs were high but the build quality was lacking.
