As a parent of a 5 year old entering K this coming fall, we were set on the Spanish immersion program at our public school. Less expensive childcare costs never factored into the decision, and learning of cost savings is a bit of a shock to

Like Amazon shopping, I come here for the 1-star reviews. Does it charge in cold? Will it catastrophically fail when punctured? Does it wear out over time? At this point only the negatives matter.

This article depresses me in how wrong it is. It’s like reading about someone in Ancient Greece writing about how fire works. I’m almost certain we are doomed - which one could argue is a rather conservative philosophical opinion.

I pick the kids up from daycare at 4:30. Every few days its 4:25, I’m in the middle of something and I’ll spend 60 seconds writing out simple English sentences or bullet-points of what I need to accomplish when I get back to my desk. This c

I regularly see kids aged 8-13 playing outside on our block. I always look to make sure they are OK, not hurting anyone or anything, and I’m reminded of my childhood of roaming the suburbs of Minneapolis. I have a 5 and 2 year old and will

Another article stated that the large pressure requirements are already known/solved in current chip designs using some kind of chemistry-induced pressurization. I’m a fish out of water on this topic, but maybe an analogy is tempered g

I’m so glad I don’t have to gamify my label design and print app. I mean, label printers are already an exercise in absolute frustration, anyways. What’s that video game genre? Permadeath? Might be on to something …

+1 as well. This helped me finally build my first app, and things learned translated very easily between apple platforms. Although, I don’t agree with dismissing Electron. It’s what I eventually pivoted to in order to create a desktop softw

It also helps to publish to the Mac App Store on Friday because you can (should be the default) elect to rollout over a 7 day period (1,2,5,10,25,50,100%). When you do this you can catch an error over the weekend with a small percentage of

There’s no where else to say this, but for wholesome kids entertainment, Bluey is hard to beat. Every 10 minute episode is basically a guide on how to play. Kids love it. Parents relearn how to play. It’s so charming and ridiculous. Totally

I watched it a year ago. The imagery sticks with you - you sigh a lot. It’s subtle and bleak with little to no “modern movie drama” (gasps, pop outs by bad guys, scares) other than a few run of the mill drawn out pregnancies. Watch it alone
