Yup, my friend has some of these that were custom made based on his ears. They seem to be much much better for him as a result. I don't believe they were inexpensive though, at least what he had made.

Ugh, that sucks. I had hoped my experience was a one off situation but I've heard from others over the past few years that they have had the same type of problem.

I previously wrote about how difficult it was to return and get a refund on a Remarkable 2. It was hell. I would highly recommend avoiding them like the freaking plague if you're at all on the fence, because it's a hellacious proc

I subscribe to Readwise, their Reader portion is awesome in that I can subscribe to RSS feeds, but it also gives you a feed email (and a library email, which would be like Instapaper) that you can subscribe to newsletters with and they go d

This will absolutely get me to go back to Halide once iOS 18 hits and I can change the default camera that gets launched from the Home Screen button. In 2025 I'd love to see "AI" disappear from usage. I know I'm not like

I've heard it's really important for bonded pairs. None of mine are bonded like that, but I still wanted to make sure I did the right thing and not make things worse than they already were. I'd highly recommend others do it i

I had to say goodbye to one of my cats on Monday. I found out she had cancer on Thursday after she collapsed. Did enough to keep her around and not in too much pain over the weekend but Monday was the day. I cried my eyes out before taking

I wrote and maintained a tool that was sent to users when something went wrong. Man was I always afraid and stressed that the tool meant to help users when they were already having a failure was also having a failure.

I've never been offered a better deal with Comcast/Xfinity for using their modems or hardware. Renting their stuff is $10/mo and a modem is $100, last I bought something like 5 years ago now, for a higher end one that support

As someone who has very little experience working on a browser, but is interested in helping, could you possibly recommend where a dumb dude that wants to help could get started? There's probably a huge influx of people trying to get i

I believe the PS3 had an option to install Linux on it at some point. No? That would've made it a neat option for classes like this.

The biggest reason I'm moving away from 1Password is the abysmal support for Safari Profiles. It's so bad it's ridiculous. Right now for instance I have a Personal profile, and a few work specific ones around admin, developme

I noticed a "Notes" section in password items. So, I guess in theory you could utilize those. But my biggest one is wanting to store secure files. Think copies of a drivers license, signed documents or various certs and keys. That

FreeTaxUSA is pretty great. I've used it for 2 or 3 years now. Would definitely recommend, and it is getting better each year at making the process easier in my experience. I tend to pay a little bit extra for services I don't nec

That totally makes sense. I'm not saying there aren't advantages to what is being done, but what is being done does add a level of complexity to it all. I think there is a valid reason for tools like Pharo to exist, I don't k
