I have an Oasis 2 (2017 or so timeframe). What would be a good option that's similar to it? I love the screen size, the flush screen (I understand the Oasis is glass rather than plastic), and the page turn buttons are all pretty import

Sure. Like so many major (often crazy) milestones the human race has done. * Climbed Everest * Flew a plane * Make a trip to the Titanic * Freediving * Swam the English Channel * Floated across the Atlantic with no idea where we were headed

Really? This is the same guy that came back and rescued everyone from the Endurance. This stuff was dangerous, I think everyone going in knew it, as no one else had done this stuff before. From the Wikipedia entry: > Shackleton's co

I use a combination of YNAB and a spreadsheet. Generally YNAB is my day-to-day and tracks my actual savings, income and spending. The spreadsheet is more for historical purposes and creating graphs or tables for monitoring long term goals (

I mean, I get that. Part of it is irrational because my father worked for and retired from GM. So it's a bit of a family thing. But the loyalty has a limit and I believe Mary Barra has reached the limit for me.

One of the reasons I am using it (I inherited it, looking to move) is due to being able to delegate some responsibilities to other staff without giving them the whole thing. What other services would you recommend that provide the same? I r

Today was the first day, in the ~4 months that we've been using Teams and MS365 for our company, that anyone noticed an actual outage. I got an email about it from a colleague and they weren't aware of the outage (I wouldn't

I think mentioning you are a founder in the original comment might have prevented that particular reply from happening. I think one of the things I, personally, am becoming less okay with as a reader here is seeing recommendations without p

I don't think I said we weren't making backups. We have two pieces in place: 1. We are a Microsoft 365 shop, so OneDrive stores versions of files and all that. Admittedly this is not a "backup" necessarily, but it does s

Generally speaking, a password manager is going to be one of the strongest most secure products a person uses. Most people's threat model doesn't really include having to worry about having both of them in the same tool. If your t

Small team, though, non-profit. There is wayyyy more work to do than any one individual has time to do, and while this is probably common even in non-startup-y type businesses, it means "work on what matters most" is really import

I don't think hype was ever _that_ high anyway, plus, this is how it is with every product more or less. You hear about it, there's a wave of interest, then generally speaking it tapers off until closer to launch. We now have a la

Readwise has a tool on the Mac that can pull highlights in. I believe it still works, but it's not an officially supported solution from Apple, if that's what you're looking for.

A $100 notepad? Gimme a break. Given Baron Fig and Leuchtturm charge a premium (and are $20-30), I’d guess one of these would be under $30 if they had enough interest to produce large enough quantities. The price really depends on quantity.
