It would be nice if there was info about the methods they developed for testing, rather than just how effective it was.

This isn't a logic cap. The 11 character password is easier to remember and faster to type than the 6 letter one, so it is perfectly fair to compare it.

The account I bought initially had 15 MB space limit (it was a 15$ one time purchase for life membership). They never increased this limit... The web interface didn't auto refresh, unless you used "poll" which then only refreshed every 30 m

I had been using fastmail for years too, but recently switched to gmail ironically. 10+ years ago I payed a small fee for life time account with them, and they very were good, but they just never made any improvements to their service and g

The regex is not complex, just the php implementation is. I feel like any regex expression should give an error or at least a warning if is going to return a potentially incorrect answer.

Another obvious lesson to take from this is that it is sometimes better to release something imperfect and improve upon it, rather than wait for the perfect product, because by then you may be irrelevant. The downside to this is lack of agi

"but rather what people in the community think it's important in a conversation" should be "but rather that people..." or "...think is important in a conversation" For the record, I agree, but enjoy irony.

Winter is not a disaster. The point of the article is valid, but hopefully humanity can come up with a better solution than population control through an unnatural equivalent of predators.

This is good news, but I feel like it is only treating a symptom not the actual disease. If the algorithm properly detected site relevance, importance and viewer satisfaction, those copycat sites should never have ranked higher in the first

The sole purpose of this design is to avoid "the inverted" umbrella problem. But how much a problem is this? I have never seen this happen in real life.

I'm not going to say that this program is useless, but the example shown (7 roach) would have been near trivial to find by a mere human. Tricks like premaking the overlord, using extractor trick, etc. Have been around for over 10 years sinc
