I still think a desktop Linux will be big in the enterprise, especially for computer professionals. You need a powerful machine for certain things.

I wonder if Apple and Microsoft will get that at some point, i bet on Google not because they are superior in every way but i can trust them not locking me out when i change the ecosystem.

Ballmer recites hundreds of features, how long did he take to remember everything, how should a viewer? Some stuff next year, some now... How should i know what are the important ones, he sounds kinda bored. The crazy Ballmer is 10 times be

"I love metro version of Skype!" I doubt that, "metro" is used. This is so funny, it was actually a good brand for the new interface. Now they try it with Windows 8....

Now we see Microsoft's marketing department, always these smiling, good looking, ethnic diverse, people with too perfect illumination and image coloring. There is one guy at Microsoft who thinks this is the only way of making pictures. It

It is really easy to see the problem with Airtime and you could have recognized this already with Chatroulette: It is really exhausting, people don't relax while video chatting. Even with your mum you constantly have to think about what is

That's a little bit unfair, there is no game changing task organisation app out there and it's a huge problem. Trello is the best right now in my opinion. They focused too much on a perfect technical solution for web development. When Mosko

Me too, i got my whole family on there and have another peer group i share a lot of stuff with. The stuff for my family is not visible to the public. People wanted a private network like Path, what is just for mobile unfortunately.

In the short term yes, but not in the long run. The original services are more innovative and takes over the market slowly but steadily. I don't know if it's just bad, they drive competition and accelerate innovations in that space. Facebo

They have rights for "every music", a reversal of the burden of proof and demand ridiculously high royalties from Youtube.

All this stuff reminds me of music from German speaking areas, only without a hidden message. We have also really stupid culture, if you are interested you can look that stuff up ;-) Weird middle class youth culture from Austria: http://de

The company build up value (patents etc.) and the employees get zero of that. Maybe the VC's are the problem, when they dictate terms when they have a higher preference than the employees (what is unjust to begin with), but also a CEO who a

I was thinking the same thing. Only Facebook makes such disrespectful moves... and then i remembered where the Quora founders came from. I hope they fail, Facebook is a horrible example and everybody should realize that.

That is not true, you can program such an unmaintainable mess in Scala that is just not possible in Java. You don't have to implement every programming feature just because it exists. That makes Scala inferior in reality. In my opinion the

I don't want to discuss gambling addictions, this was obviously a sarcastic comment. Do you think this is an appropriate market for a so called technology company who wants to "connect the world"?

All this talk from Zuckerberg, "We don't care about Money", "I wan't to connect people" aso. seems cynic with their recent plans. I buy that Apple really cares about great products. I don't like how controlling they are with their app store
