It's cheaper to create a 3D model of every product than to just take a picture of it?

I am not a web dev, but I do it occasionally for fun, or want to put a script on the web, and when I saw htmx I was excited because I immediately grokked it and knew how to use it for my purposes. React looks cool, but intimidating for some

True, but a big problem with these jobs is not giving employees enough hours consistently. I wonder how many people are getting effectively minimum wage or less because they don't even get full-time hours consistently.

I really wonder if we will find these symptoms are caused by other viruses as well. Possibly candidate for chronic fatigue syndrome?

I have wondered about this as well... If your heat pump uses say 1kW, and they usually provide 4x-5x heat out, so say 5kW of heat out and your able to extract 50% of that as energy using say a turbine, you would get 2.5kW out? or maybe 1.5k

Took me a bit to see what it was actually doing. In the doc folder it has some pictures. It appears to be sort of a linear actuator that pushes the spaghetti forward or backward, which makes/breaks the light path in the optical sensor

Moore's law was enabled by lithography which enabled a pretty clear path forward on how to shrink transistors over time. AFAIK there is no similar enabling technology for qubit. Maybe that will change, but until then, I don't real

Same here, but just said I want to cancel, and am screen-shotting the conversation, if it is not cancelled I will file a complaint, and they ended the chat and cancelled it. Pretty egregious that you have to resort to that. Also they have

I was thinking maybe 4:3 panels might be hard to come by today, but looking on amazon, they seem to be available, so ya. Might be neat if they had a built in CRT "filter", like running it through a raspberry pi with one of those C

> CO2 emissions have been dropping substantially for some time Context? You mean in the US? Or Globally? Or just per capita? My understanding is that CO2 emissions continue to increase overall.

I think it depends on what our goals are. If we are just trying to replace current electricity capacity with renewables, the I think solar/wind/etc. + batteries are fine and can be done relatively quickly (though keep in mind new

The whole thing is so messed up. Rates are high, so mortgage is expensive, but also prices have not really budged and so you are paying a lot in property tax compared to if you had bought even just a few years ago. Moreover, you are paying

Sure but inviting controversial speakers used to be seen as valuable to challenge ones beliefs on the off chance you might actually be wrong about something. Now it seems that thought never crosses their minds.

My city also has a similar law for trees and I think it is the wrong approach. I think it incentivizes people not to grow trees since you might not be able to take them out later if needed. Instead we should have some sort of property tax d
