Oh wow, I remember looking at my post thinking: "something's wrong here, oh well." I actually meant Jade: http://jade-lang.com/ . Jade makes HAML look like a dogs breakfast.

You can repurpose Docco as a running commentary for library usage or for examples. This combines the readability of Docco with the awesome usefulness of usage examples. It also allows you to easily run your example code as part of your te

Stylus is an excellent contender. http://learnboost.github.com/stylus/ I'd vouch it makes haml look like someone took stylus code and spat random characters all over it. It's even got its own compass equivalent, nib: https://github.com/

I take public transport for exactly this reason. I have also found being on public transport somehow makes me feel incredibly focused and productive.

This is true for some music genres, but not all. Same way you can just press record on your camera phone, you are unlikely to film the next blockbuster on that. Commercial quality polish (generally) takes expensive engineers and expensive e

You know why? Because there's so much shitty content out there. Bad TV shows that have one good episode. Bad albums with one good song. I'm sick of buying stuff and then later discovering I was simply a victim of a marketing campaign. That'

> For instance, it’s well-established that men perform more effectively under routine and structure. - Citation needed. Blaming "men" for the 9-5 workday is easily one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Come on.

If you're going to call yourself a copywriter, you should probably make sure you don't have any errors in the copy you're using to promote that. Oh, the irony.

Excellent work. My only feedback would be to look at the camera more, that way you're talking to the audience, not just to the interviewer.

Forgive my naivety, but why do we have cross domain limitations if I can fire up a proxy and do the exact same thing? What's the difference?

I have this same thing, but from playing too many video games. Constantly looking for sniper positions, cover, and I always have this feeling I want to walk sideways (strafe) around corners.

The problem is neither of these tools give you useful metrics up-front: I want to compare the number of watchers/forks/updated/dependencies, but instead I have to wade through each result item to make a decision. It is open source though,

How many times have you been standing in a queue with the money in your hand, wishing you could just drop the money and get out, who cares about change, you just want to get the hell out of here. This is my proposal for a "no change given"

I like to imagine how awesome github's potential UX could be be if they decoupled, open-sourced and allowed contributions to their front-end . Something along the lines of stable and opt-in unstable UI branches with frequent releases.
