This sounds more about optimization overall as a whole and the brain benefits rather than only for the brain? Mice live 30% longer so it must be not only about the brain.

I agree. Personally, I'm very annoyed with myself at times at the tendencies that drive me that are constantly at odds with productivity or good health etc etc. as like you said it, evolution does not have the capacity to care about th

The impossible 1 is super salty where I've had it in hop doddy and ruby's diner in SoCal. It reminded me more of mince meat type quality, passable but gross. I'm hoping 2 is perfect because I really would prefer to not have t

After using mongodb for many years, I haven't run into a use case where I should have used it over SQL. The only benefit is rapid prototyping for me personally and it initially felt awesome to have mongoose in node be the schema as it

This game keeps getting better. Sean and his team are the best example of focusing on what matters in the face of backlash even if earned or not. True grit.

All the answers I see on stack say there is no gain to do hash or encrypt prior to sending. I'm not sure I can agree with this. Let's say you hash a password and some attacker gains this. They can now log into that website BUT NOT

Personally as a developer I'm not thinking Facebook is bad but rather that in general we are bad and we pass over plain text passwords to endpoints (through SSL) and just trust the data will not be abused (logging) but would be cool to

This has made me so frustrated with my phone. I see it as only an entertainment device at this point and only use the phone with a small select group of people, rejecting all other calls as its gone insane.

I think a more practical approach is to focus on a generic enough UI toolkit meaning detached from any specific tech stack that will give a feeling of continuity to customers as they move from static pages and SPAs and different flavors of

Just an opinion but this is fantastic tech, just lacks any humanoid resemblance, more like an industrial car factory assembly line. In the future of course, we will have humanoid robots that appeal to our emotions as well because why not?

It might be a visual/spatial disconnect because you mention you cannot intuit color contrast or distinguish fonts or failed at how design works. CSS then would have no meaning to you. Imagine asking a deaf person to describe music in n

The reason it (OAuth) was built was for user convenience one-click signing in for the most part and frankly that is more important than most considerations or tradeoffs if it's accomplishing the job. I do feel like this is always a bea

That is definitely not good for my needs. I'll be sticking to Atlas over DocumentDB or simply plain Mongo latest. Thank you for the comment.

I feel this is a very late article and that it has already happened but not in the crisis way. Meaning, this has allowed a shift in work to focus on programming tasks rather than infrastructure as much and hence there is more competition to

So its like Mongo is being eaten by AWS in terms of its service offerings after it gains mindshare as DocumentDB is essentially a swap-out replacement for larger companies. That somehow smells to me as it erodes funding from its foundation

Thank you, this seems very useful and much nicer than doing a jsfiddle as you can work locally. There's nothing wrong with reposting good work as I would have missed it otherwise. Bravo.

There is a huge difference in the way you write code when you have to support your own code around the clock and it really changes your perspective as a developer as before this I would work for a company with a team of testers and fire and
