No thanks, just give me the physical menu. If the staff refuses to provide with such "ancient" method, it's probably a shit restaurant anyways. The "it's not implemented correctly" argument is irrelevant. I won

Textbook clickbait article, though I don't expect (nor want) the title to be changed or the link to be removed because it shows how desperate CNN is for coming back into the mainstream. The prices are not "zero" or "belo

Shouldn't most mammals, or even vertebrates do this? I would go one step further and say that probably most animals or living beings do this (the social ones anyways) after a while, and the one thing I'm remembering is the syncing

Imo the problem is not quantity but quality. And even then, the most important characteristic of that quality is the known transparency behind the platform itself, which affects the mentioned quality of behavior & content. I personally

22.04 LTS is probably gonna be my last go-to linux distro release for workstations and all-around. Going back to fedora after this goes EOL since the "snappy" shit, pro advertisements, and other things haven't stopped. I'

Most people talk about the printing money aspect, and while that's definitely true, it needs to be bought into the context of the covid19 policies that exacerbated the downfall of the economy. Printing money is one thing, but doing tha

I recently discovered Zettlr and frankly I'm pleased enough with it: cross-platform, does the job well-enough. You can always use an extension for VSC or emacs, etc. but when simply wanting to read a markdown file I use this one. Previo

Snap is garbage for being the default option for software. It's good at some things, but this is not one of those.

Can't say that Google does not deserve "this" defeat (out of many). Google slowly stopped caring about Android: the vision and the concept of a "community-driven" OS but instead went back in the "defensive"

How does "more original content" doesn't sound like potential shitty results for a given query? We've already seen tailoring doesn't work universally and people often times want concrete results.

Wish julia would get some decent packages on main distros at least for the latest stable release. The tooling is slowly but surely improving, but that's hard to do when you're always 1/2 versions behind the latest release.

In this regard, electric cars are worse even than 'normal' cars. They're too quiet. If recently one of the car brands did not introduce a (very too quiet) beep on one of their EVs when reversing, I would have been ran over in
