We have run benchmarks on our environment (CNPG, Openshift and CEPH in Dutch gov) and compared to Azure Postgres and (CNPG on) Azure AKS. Pgbench and pg_tps_optimizer. CEPH indeed is a 'high bandwidth / high latency' storage
