I'm not sure that logic really holds, what part of the definition of ownership specifies this? If you drive your car without insurance it can be forcibly taken from you, does that mean nobody truly owns their car?

How does Apple prevent you from modifying your phone? Sure you'll void your warrantee, but other than that I'm pretty sure you can do what you want with your phone.

Oh you don't use 3S you use 4S, I see. ;) Seriously though, I don't know, I see multirotors as being a reconnaissance tool if anything, modern missiles are pretty much mini jet planes, and in my mind they'd beat a rotorcraft

What makes the weapon you described any better than something like this[0]? Even if we decided to use hexacopters like you described, you still need a vehicle to deliver them, you aren't going to be flying from the US to Syria or where

According to a lot of people in this thread[0], it is pretty much expected that the radar in any fighter jet will need rebooting from time to time. [0] https://www.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/49iegx/

I guess so! It just seems strange to me because it's quite familiar and there's not been any particular release or news that would attract attention suddenly.

Not sure why this is posted here but Cleanflight is great, it's used extensively on racing drones.

When I used to use Skype on OSX I always hated it, people talk about iTunes being bloatware but the amount of resources Skype used was obscene. The final straw was a bug they never fixed that would log me out of Facebook in Safari every tim

I think most of us think people should not be encouraged to work 60 hours a week, and that doing unpaid work and burning yourself out shouldn't be necessary in order to get a promotion. If somebody wants to go crazy and let their job t

Vine seems to have the same problem. Most regular people only occasionally post an original Vine, but if you want to see those, you have to scroll through tons of their reposts first.

It's not like anyone can just go out with a laser pointer and verify the existence of the retroreflectors though, they're for use by observatories. Although even if there was a scientific way for the average man to independently v

That example is not correct, a key concept in concurrency is that it gives way to potential parallelism, but this does not follow from the queues and coffee machines analogy.

Yeah that thing seems way overpriced, or at least far too high-spec for most applications. Quadcopter flight control boards containing gyros and accelerometers can be had for less than $20, and those do just fine.

Having a 'spam email' that you use to sign up for stuff and a separate one for non-automated communication only is definitely a good idea.

There always seems to be that kind of vibe on any of his posts, they seem to be mostly from people in Asian countries. I guess everyone needs a role model, and when people see the chance to interact with theirs they really reach out for it.

What you're describing is "exogenous depression", which occurs due to environmental causes. Its existence doesn't change the fact that a lot of people suffer from endogenous depression, which requires no external circum
