McCafé in Germany is drinkable. The coffee in the restaurant after dinner was superb. They just had a typical crappy coffee machine with shitty coffee in the morning restaurant. And yes: I talked to them.

Seconded. Having worked in quite a few agency/consultancy situations, it is far more productive to smash your head against a wall till bleeding, than to get a client to pay for security. The regular answer: "This is table stakes,

Yeah, I admit, Virchow was a low hanging fruit as a cynical comparison. I stumbled upon Luhmann in school. I always wished, I had a ZK. I never got around to being disciplined enough to build one. I also was more of an Foucault guy at unive

Sadly back in the day the city of Munich caved in (hosting Germany's MS headquarter). They had a good good run with their Linux. But the state of Schleswig-Holstein is pushing for more open source and switching to Libre Office (80% or

Luhmann left behind 70,000 index cards, published over 70 books and ~400 papers, and his systems theory is still actively applied in sociology, legal theory, and organizational studies. He's required reading at German universities. You

And I don't buy into it. When I sold my late fathers home, about 30 years after he had originally built it, I sold it for a bit less than he had paid for having it built. So no: Asset prices not necessarily always go up. It depends sig

I am currently - and (this post is up 25 minutes as of now) have been using it without noticeable degradation over the last few hours. Edit: But the status page - at least as of now - is clearly communicating elevated error rates.

I grew up with a single dad that while having a good salary also had the mortgage to pay. So I was middle class, but never had the niceties my peers had. I moved out before finishing school (I did finish living on my own) and working 40 - 6

Even in Germany 100k€ a year puts you in the top 2% (maybe even top1%) for single earners. And in the top 5% for a couple. So OP is - for eastern European standards (depending on which country specifically) very well off. Talking as if 100k

For client projects I tend to go with KirbyCMS. Easy license, great functionality, very easy to setup and configure for the client side users. And way less bloated. I actually really dig it and nearly exclusively use it for my projects. But

A client of mine is using ProcessWire as his site was done by the guys behind process wire. Big shoutout. To the system and the guys. Great system as far as I am concerned - even if I tend to use KirbyCMS for most of my projects.
