Anyone know how they made these slides? I'm speculating it's just Keynote with San Fransico Bold or something.

If Sparkfun or Adafruit decided to take over Maker Media's operations (print media and events) that would be so great.

Where are Maker spaces in the bay? Only one I remotely know of that still exists is Hackerdojo.

Even with Kubernetes, you can clearly see what is deploying to what nodes. Not sure what Google's pipeline is, but I would suspect they have some "undo" function to stop the deployment .

Could be possible, but given Apple optimizes like crazy using its own hardware and software, Apple products get crazy performance. On top of that Nvidia and Apple aren't on good terms, so they obviously didn't want to build a very

I've heard that CUDA can help decrease render times on Adobe Premiere Pro and several other programs. I'm guessing that includes 3D modeling software like Fusion 360 or something to help with various molding and simulation feature

100% Uptime SLA is pretty daring. Not even Google can do that (obviously given today's big mess-up)

Yeah, HN is definitely a lot more homogeneous. Even CS centered subreddits have somewhat toxic cultures because of what anonymity sustains. I think HN has a lot fewer visitors than Reddit but has a lot more conscious, thoughtful, experience

Weird for Twitter to still be up and fully functioning. I thought they migrated everything to GCP this/last year?

Adding on to this: If you can make one or two SaaS apps that become popular, even if they're small programs, in theory, you'll still be able to live a regular life without working at all. I think it's a pretty good time to li

I agree with lohszvu and given this was made nearly a decade ago, I'm pretty sure their tactics have changed (I don't even think AMP was made in 2010).
