I'm guilty of sin two. And I can see the op's point. So I can amend, improve. One sin that ought to be included replete in CS, math, and physics papers my English writing instructor made me stop: parenthetical phrases. Excessive f

Newton I think was a more-so solo breakthrough effort. Einstein had Hilbert nipping at his heels on relativity. But comparing people in this way is really pointless other than to remind insecurity, need, jealousy is everybody's problem

Note that Solarflare requires a per NIC license to get that by-pass. And like Melanox those NICs are not cheap. Kernel by-pass on COTS without recourse to high end NICs w/ or w/o FPGA and the like is needed. I am benchmarking eRPC

Ouch! Ok, somebody came ready to rock-n-roll on questions. Originally I read, for example, "4 months ago" instead as "4 months before asking HN [see link here]" as in don't ask answered questions!

Terrible writing! The author uses too many parenthetical phrases. And he adds nothing substantial merely standing on other people's work. And for goodness sakes, latex has ways of providing links sensibly. Please use it!

Consider: what would the prevailing interest in crypto be -- think of the US Gemini exchange for example -- if at the end of they day Gemini couldn't extract US dollars from it. I don't think Gemini would be a going concern. There

Good, good read. In contrast to persons I've run into over a long career in which money is seen as the measurement of all things, the HP is more nuanced, more integrated, more complex. And I think that's why it's more real. I

Agree. Corporate speak is un-open. It's a spin. It's pejorative because it's essentially manipulative. To get out of that and to work from one's own experience requires intelligence and some (not a ton) of confidence. If

If I read another piece of American corporate crap --- plastic, formulaic, always-be-selling --- I'm gonna throw up on my keyboard. The write-up is rife with stock phrases, and vapid emotionalism. Somewhere when the rest of us are busy
