After just roughly scanning the graphs I'd speculate that the ageing society plays a role. Which could explain why less liberal states are experiencing a rise of population, while the more liberal states are experiencing a decline. Which is

The single-best exercise for my back was doing squats. Those, probably mixed with deadlifts, build up my back muscles and my posture corrected itself. (I was slouching a lot.) I just can't think of anything more effective than those two exe

Congrats and I concur. I wasted 2 years at the gym before I stumbled over "Starting Strength". I just decided to go for it, because I had the feeling that most people, including me, are just messing around wasting time at the gym. And here'

There's some interesting things in this talk. Like finding bugs by reading code backwards. I find 99% of my bugs when I ask a colleague to help me find it and start explaining to him what I am trying to accomplish with my code. It just make

The article the author points to on Cuba is very good. I have been to Cuba and I find it quite accurate. Indeed, the news also spread via USB stick. If you ever go to Cuba why not bring some data. Be it music, video or pages of the Spanish

Unless Twitter angers their users greatly there's not much that can be done. Twitter stands for status updates just like Google stands for search. A competing product would have to have a (slightly?) different feature-set I think..
