The ones suffering are Microsoft. (IMHO) I don't think that many of their corporate customers are still considering investing in their software. This could be a huge turning point for them. And unfortunate or not, I think they deserve

I'd rather have my feelings hurt in exchange for an honest opinion than to hear worthless words that sound nice. Always. And I'd always prefer a competent asshole boss to a friendly guy that doesn't know how to do his job. Pe

There's a business opportunity. Rent-a-shopper. Anonymize your purchases by having another person do your shopping. Pick up your purchases at a rent-a-shopper pick up point near you. I wonder what percentage of the population cares abo

How do you know it was Steve Jobs that prevented Apple from joining earlier? Perhaps Apple just wasn't a priority for the NSA until 2012.

I think it's just good journalism. The story needs to stay popular for as long as possible. They are storing and reading all our private communication, for crying out loud.

Sometimes Stackexchange sites will close a thread, because it's "not a question". Sometime's they won't. Nitpicking, but this is not a question. (Still great answers, though.)

Same here. CSS Media Queries are not respected. Looks alright on phone, but this test-website is showing the default desktop-version.

You are right about this being a good apology, but I think placing to much value on a good apology is not healthy. We are already living in a world where words, promises and good intentions matter too much. In the end, actions matter most.

Yes. Life is about balance. Too much working is bad. Too much relaxing is bad. About getting rid of unnecessary things: For each item I buy (say a pair of new socks), one old has to go. Usually I throw away (or donate) more than one item wh

I once saw a nice idea when I was traveling to Sofia in Bulgaria. When I withdrew money at an ATM it asked me at the end if I would like to donate 1 LEV (0.66 USD, 0.5 EUR) to Unicef. I really liked it, because it's a very small amount of m
