Thanks for the link. I just donated some money on Watsi. But I can't help but feel a bit uneasy about trusting them. After virtually ALL big Internet companies have been exposed as liars, whom can I trust? I just hope the kid that I se

Is there an open source JavaScript snippet somewhere that I can put on my page and it shows a pop up prompting users to accept cookies?

Yeah, this is not freedom. It's alright, USA. But stop pretending otherwise.

Nothing wrong with that statement, except I think it should be a given.. Do we need a pat on the back for doing the right thing? :)

Yep, see what happened in the Arabic countries (and some other countries outside of the Islam-sphere). People organised to protest using the Internet. People get educated using the Internet. In Cuba they exchange information using thumb dri

I think by now it's very naive to still assume they do it just to stop terrorism. But the good thing about this whole mess is that a new generation of people realises that politicians are liars and are not to be trusted, ever.

Good idea. Let's show the media world that we care about topics like the NSA-scandal. I'm subscribing.

I am not in America, but perhaps a little education about nutrition at school would help to make people think twice about their food and drink choices?

Yeah. And I feel bad recommending GMail to friends and family before. Now I tell them to leave it. I should have known.. Right now my Google usage is at almost 0%. (I still use calendar.. for now.)

I wish that somebody (Michael Moore perhaps?) would make a great documentary on the topic of the surveillance state that everyone watches. (And on the seemingly broken American political system, as well.)

So expressing support for Snowden is suggested to be a sign I might be a threat to a country. Way to accelerate the self-censorship (and the subsequent censorship of thought) that this whole surveillance disaster creates.

Greenwald and Snowden are my heroes of the year (at least). The amount of lies in .gov and Internet-industry is amazing. I hope none of the involved politicians and companies ever speak of "privacy" or "security" again.
