I prefer the paper version of my books, too. However, sometimes I like to have a digital copy, for example in order to search for content using a phrase. When I buy a vinyl record nowadays, I often get a download-code for the mp3-version. B

What a world, what a world. If a man helps another man, which I consider normal and I thought everyone would, you are "moved" when someone is nice. On the other hand it's a scandal if someone seems unfriendly, even though the

As a European I don't even know who Sheryl Sandberg is, but googling her it seems she's not really practising what she preaches: http://valleywag.gawker.com/revealed-sheryl-sandbergs-unpaid... ;)

Just wondering if reactions would be as positive if the product wasn't Google but, I don't know, Glock pistols or Royal Dutch Shell (aired 7 days after an oil spill). You could change the story to fit almost anything, after all.

Maybe it's a silly theory, but just I thought the other day that the increased fear of disaster is a result of less spirituality in the west. (= decline of christianity, increase of atheism) And also a result of detachment from nature
