Assuming this is really an attempt to block user's access to .torrent-files then it is a futile one. There are many other Torrent trackers serving the same files (or at least files that point to the same files), technical means to circumven

Although the implementation looks very good (congrats) I'd like to say on a general note: "Gamification" of software can't possibly be the right thing to do. If you can't find gratification and satisfaction in contributing to a project as i

What if amazon simply made a good itunes clone with simple export to ipod etc.? Many established businesses can be attacked by offering the same, only better or cheaper. Or isnt it as obvious as i think?

You can burn the installation CD and run Ubuntu without installing as well.

This is exactly the right direction for Ubuntu. I'm installing this remotely on my dad's computer as I type this. The shortcut keys (using the Windows-button) are very useful and the dock-like launcher is a good replacement for the old task

I would speculate that this will not help Accenture to acquire new development talent. After all, who would want to work with an expired technology?

I'd speculate that most people are more effective when they feel observed and having strangers around you creates that situation. Now coming to think about it I think this is why they had posters of the leader in "1984" everywhere.

Although the same might be true for solving Sudoku-puzzles. Or taking pleasure in solving challenging problems that have already been solved. I think the key ingredient is inspiration. I find it not always clear where to look for it. On Hac

I don't understand what you mean. Are you suggesting Europeans are cheap because they like to use open source operating systems on servers they themselves manage?

I'd also like such a plugin / browser extension. For the time being I use contact groups. When I type the name of a group gmail expands the email addresses.

Thanks for the recommendation but it's really not a topic of interest for me. I was just idly speculating what might happen if one day a generation emerges that doesn't feel that their children can have a better life than they have. I think

This is off topic but I find it difficult to read the blog-articles from jaquesmattheij.com . Zooming doesn't help because the text doesn't wrap correctly. Just a suggestion for the author to change the layout of the page.
