Related fun story: there was a group trying to beat every Super Mario maker level. After years of effort, they had 1 level left. They were down to the wire to get it done before the services shutdown. They got it done 3 days ago. https:&#x

MacBook Air level M3, not MacBook Pro. "Our best chip which isn't released yet is better than the competitors entry level model which is already in market" isn't that much of a brag.

Wildly fast inference. And current chips are 14nm so headroom to get a lot better.

Opened it, made an animation in 10 seconds. On mobile. With zero experience with animation software. Well done Any chance of Lottie export? I think I would use this if there was.

Love this space. I’ve build a few versions of this in go, glad to see some go native frameworks. Would also love to see some examples. Concerns I’ve had to deal with in the past (if these are solved, examples would go a long way): - max que

Faiiir. Nothing was net new concept. But the package they made was quite unique. Garbage collected but always native. No thread access, native channels and coroutines instead. Defer is pretty much net new in language design terms. No while

Not a great take. The go team made a lot of decisions that weren't mainstream at the time, and nailed them. Fast builds, native binaries, language simplicity, new concurrent primitives, interface model, defer, no build flags, package s

Ecliptic curve signing. You can produce a message body like “valid_until=2025-02-25” then sign it and distribute it as an api key that’s body+sig. Client can verify signature using public key without a server call (sig validation). EC beats

You expect too much for free. This looks amazing. Keep it installed, use it when I land (even if just to buy a better eSIM from Airalo). Don’t need to plan ahead, shop eBay, carry extra sims around. If I cross the border for an hour (live i

Not open-source/audited, but Apple HomeKit Secure Video is light years ahead. Encrypted in-house on your own hardware (ATV or HomePod), they don't have the keys, excellent UX, hosted service, super easy to use. I'm all about

Tried this. Latency of DNS so critical, wasn't loving the self host option. Plus Tailscale wasn't quite reliable enough for all DNS traffic outside the house. I ended up with Pi-Hole on local network (manual DNS tied to Wifi SSID)

Not a trigger. Just a payload. On a domain the government can’t seize/shutdown. Kinda interesting, but I imagine they can just extract all the target urls from the malware and get hosts to block?
