"Same difference" to use an Irish turn of phrase. If a short to ground takes out power to an extensive area does it mater what touched what?

Is 50Hz really that important these days – i.e. more important than maintaining power? (Honest naive question.)

The title really needs to mention Linux, as this is a solved problem in the OSs used by the majority of people. ( Including developers [0] before anyone comments that this is HN). [0] https://www.statista.com/statistics

I get what you (intended to) mean, but living within your means doesn’t leave anything to invest - you just don’t have a growing mountain of debt.

Odd choice of name. “Pila” means “battery” in a couple of languages, but refers to small disposable types (AA, AAA etc.), not something you’d associate with a UPS.

I'd forgotten about that. I liked the idea and contributed on KickStarter, but it never matured to the point that I felt comfortable using it. I see the website is still up, albeit dated 2014!

Nice idea. Just some nitpicks: "Visit QR code to:" – You don't "visit" a QR code. Perhaps "Scan the QR code to:"? (Optional grammar fix included.) "Comment on the QR code" – "Leave a comment

Possibly, but that's a very different scenario to a database of cleartext passwords (which is what I assumed was meant), as each device would have to be identified and compromised to access a password to a device which at that point is
