I'm really angry about this outage. I have a small linode in Newark that runs a couple of things but mostly a Miniflux instance for my RSS feeds. And on Sunday I opened my feed reader app and it kept timing out. So I tried to load the

Not particularly interesting (but very ad-infested), especially since many of these I am not familiar with, and the ones I know I do pronounce correctly according to them. Wow. Great.

I prefer several types of modern mechanical key switches to the buckling spring switches for several reasons including sound, feel, travel length, and activation force (gaming and typing have different optimal force to me, for example) but

Our small group uses The Lounge web client for IRC which is a very good PWA, acts as a bouncer, has history search (not unlimited, but pretty long), supports image upload, and basically builds a modern group chat on top of IRC as a backend.

The ROMs should not be included but they almost all do it. The main exceptions are some of the pricier android-based handhelds. They market with things like "X,000 games" rather than on the capability to emulate. If an end user re

Bad headline. This is specifically referring to the AdBlock Plus "acceptable ads" program. So not "ad blockers" as a category, but rather a specific advertising company that pretends to be an ad blocker.
