IMHO, anonymity takes a certain amount of unavoidable effort. If you're just chatting with friends, maybe you really don't need Signal. If you are whistleblowing a large corporation or a government, then it makes more sense?

I never worked for a software group at Intel. And I started there in 1989. I'm not out to convince a non-believer like yourself. Just sharing my experience. EDIT: Intel certainly had a lot of dumb projects over the years, from POTS vid

Mozilla had some interesting archetypes. I only recall two because I didn't work there, but they were Wizard and True Believer. They all seemed to be more apt archetypes than standard job progression ladders because they allowed for mo

Who uses a physical workstation anymore? (Besides artists.) OP is suggesting a complete remote desktop for Office applications, like Video Conferencing. Ironically, for all the crap X takes, it could actually pull this off. Moreso for Wayla

Also not OP, but I find the best way to learn a new language is to attempt a project using just the documentation. In my mind, the documentation for the language should provide methods, paradigms, and patterns required to think in that lang

The best part about this is we finally have some kind of broad certification. Amazon has a similar process, but it is currently in its infancy. The process may not be perfect, but it is now in place, which means it can be augmented. I hope

This is interesting because people will buy supplements that have no scientific basis for efficacy (biotin, mega-doses of Vit-C, St John's Wort) but they will deride homeopathy, which also has no scientific basis for efficacy. I'm
