Alternatively companies can make an offer without asking for salary expectations. They know the market and their pay range, so it's not a large loss for them to do so. To make sure expectations are in ballpark, use a confidential sala

I personally don't expect to retire by living off my investments, because asset prices have blown up so much due to low interest rates. Basically it's a possibility that future returns have been pulled forward, and markets can go

If a stock is shorted, someone else bought the shorted shares, creating extra supply to cover with. Percentage >100 doesn't mean they cannot cover, in theory.

The survey was designed to help employers too - it's a large expense for them to interview, especially including indirect expenses. A weird market should actually call for more screening like this, because expectations can be all over

I certainly can do more "things that don't scale" but so far the response has been limited, so that I'm not even sure if it's a matter of reaching more people or it's just not something employers want.

I made a confidential salary survey app that is for employers and their candidates to check if salary expectations are within ballpark before interviewing. The idea is that it would save everyone time upfront without affecting negotiation

I'm not a user nor do I need it, but the pricing seems really silly. Your users who find value from it surely need it more than $1 or $5 a month. If it's only $1/mo in value to me, I wouldn't even bother to sign up. B

The requirements look steep but also are attainable for high level athletes in most sports. I think the difficulty is in a young candidate not having the idea of what he's getting into, let alone having a proper training program. If

I see this is getting downvoted. Will an honest man upvote this back into the black? The fact is that men place far more value in physical assets than women do. That it is even questioned and needing a scientific study is bewildering.

I would agree except this was at a hedge fund. There is no stock, but a crappy bonus that requires 3 years vesting. Also, you had to start at 5am, which made taking public transit difficult if not impossible in some locations. So add 1.5
