Is this book still the best book given that it's 10 years old?

One metric I track is what % of users return the next day. I'm trying to bring it up to 10-20% before I assume there will be any revenue. Currently at 5% for my game, which may be due to difficulty. Can I ask what your return % is?

About how much revenue or how many users do you estimate a game like this will have per month?

Are you coming from the software world? If you are, you may be surprised to learn that semi companies actually reply to their job posts. They never had the problem of having tons of matches to sort through.

You aren't trying to support ad-based demand like OpenAI is.

Sure but if FSD needs a teenager to physically monitor the car, TSLA is not worth the valuation. A robotaxi is not like vibe coding multiple setups. You only get a split second in some cases to intervene.

The last 1% in FSD is an asymptotic challenge. The last 1% in a CRUD app codebase just requires a few engineers.

Investors are balking at putting up more cash, so Nvidia is offering to backstop their own sales. It's not a red flag in terms of fraud but is very much a sign of uncertainty of returns for AI companies.

Altman wants OTHERS to spend trillions are GPU. He needs the scaling hype to continue so he can keep getting investors to put money in hopes of an AGI breakthrough. If there is no funding, OpenAI is immediately bankrupt.

Except the point is that you shouldn't need to inspect your assembly. Assembly does exactly what the higher level code tells it to (just about) whereas you cannot read your English prompt and rely on it.

So many? Why not just let the car get repo'd? Sounds hyperbolic.

This is the wrong logic. Immigrants can make exactly the same as natives and still suppress wages. Fundamentally how prices are set is someone sets a price, and if there are no takers they change the price. If a company offers a salary, a

Not aimed at your comment per se, but I'm having trouble reconciling these stories where a vast majority of applicants fail a simple test (or other Fizzbuzz type tests) with stories of how difficult interviews are these days with Leetc

Just to clarify, do these 50% regularly develop using python, and did they understand the question? It seems unavoidable to know how to run a script if you've done it within say a month. Now not remembering the if __name__ == __main__

https://wordcrux.com This is a mini crossword played semi-Wordle style. You get a one word hint, and guess the words. Three wrong guesses on any square and the game is over.

Deepseek's advancements are not going away, even if you ban them. Demand for NVDA chips will go down, and likely will take a long time before Jevon's Paradox kicks in.

The key thing is that it's actually both, and the market is still in waiting to see mode even after a 20% dump. AI end applications are not growing fast enough, and compute costs may be crashing down.

I think 20% is easily believable. LLM may not do more complex functions or work with your data, but a lot of the busywork of coding is done almost instantly. Just not having to look through library docs or sort through StackOverflow is al
