I don't do any web development but I think this will be very interesting when they bring the Android development tools to Chrome OS. There are some very nice Chromebooks out these days that have more than enough power to offer a decent

Yes I can see the issues in real-time (or near-time) collaboration as that is not something Scrivener really deals with elegantly. I was talking about it more from an individual writers perspective which is how I use it. I export sections&#

I don't disagree but Scrivener is basically writing IDE for me. It allows me to keep all my reference material, notes, documents, pictures, etc, etc. in a single, organised project in a nicely designed project management tool. I guess

Grab the trial and see for yourself? I've had no issues writing technical documentation with copious amounts of code and config sections.

Do yourself a favour and get Scrivener. Don't use Microsoft Word or any generic word processor if you're writing a book, sure you can do it but god is it a painful experience. I have been using Scrivener for a few years now and

I only use it for autofilling my CC and it works fine. A couple of sites don't play well with setting the expiry month via dropdown menus but otherwise it is solid.

Very similar for me but with 1Password instead of LastPass. My only complaint about Bitwarden is that the desktop app on macOS does not have support for Touch ID which is a shame. It has been a requested feature for a long time but no progr

I just tried this on a the latest version of Windows 10 and with everything disabled during the OOBE I still get Candy Crush, Twitter, Minecraft, Get Office, etc. in the start menu. How do I avoid those using settings in the OOBE?

Oh come on! Yes Safari includes Google, Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo as built-in search providers. That is not the same thing as bundling Candy Crush Soda in the Dock. Hell Apple don't even include the free iWorks apps such as Pages

I understand what you're saying but it is just a poor excuse IMHO. It has been 3 years since Windows 10 came out, everyone at Microsoft knows it comes with this crap. They want it there.

I don’t see Microsoft releasing a desktop Linux but I can see them releasing a Microsoft Azure Linux distro. Linux is already massive on Azure so it makes a lot of sense from a support POV. Whether they go with their own version or just b

I kind of agree and disagree at the same time. Microsoft provide file system access which is not impacted by MAX_PATH and that is what git is using when it writes to the file system. If anything I think Microsoft should fix Explorer which t

It falls back to SMS for 2FA if you don't have a trusted device on the account (e.g. if you only have one device and are doing a reset of said device)
