Are the Figma and Storybook synchronized by hand, or is there a better approach than maintaining separate implementations?

This is exactly how it currently works. Rightsholders get a pro rata share of the pot based on stream share.

This is pretty much the case already; the contracts with Spotify are negotiated. It's just that it's record labels (and not artists) doing the negotiating, since they own the recordings.

Record labels are the ones making the decisions, since they own the recordings. And they do make their money on Spotify.

For anyone unfamiliar with the concepts, I also want to point that some of the Taylor Swift fan's money is also going to the obscure independent jazz artist, despite never listening to them. People sometimes assume that the user-centri

Apple's App Store pays out 70% of every dollar to app developers, yet most apps make nothing. It's less about the 70%, and more that infinite shelf space and finite human attention leads to a lot of ignored products.

They both pay approximately the same for premium subscribers, and Apple's trial period pays approximately the same as Spotify's ad supported model. They're both trying to drive premium subscriptions, which make both them and

You can get all your music onto all streaming platforms without giving up any rights for about $20/year. The Patreon part, presumably you could use Patreon itself for this?

What's clear is that you don't like cars, and you're willing to make people's lives worse to reduce the number of them. For less dogmatic people, it may be useful to reflect on what else needs to be done to make public t

Your apple analogy is completely legal and ethical. The alternative is Monsanto's attempt at DRM with their "terminator" seeds, which many found to be unethical.

If your server is just fetching data, then it doesn't seem like much benefit to have the server close to the user unless the data is also close to the user at least some of the time (caching, distributed db, etc). However, if your serv
