Sweden is shutting down its nuclear all since a vote in the 1980s, although new nuclear is suddenly being seriously considered here it seems. It only took a major electricity price shock!

Thank you Finland, can we stop exporting 1GW+ of our precious electricity to you year-round soon? ;)

I was so confused over how a small GA aircraft would be abandoned in the woods just outside the town where I lived. Until I realized it was probably flying when being photographed!

Arrgh, those "unmoveable" blocks.. I used to try all sort of hacks to get rid of them.

I have periods like these. And then I have periods where I obsess about work, and about not producing enough, which makes me work extra hours to compensate. After 20 years in development I think this is "sort of" normal, not for e

Tried googling for this and nothing, but does it work for ARM as well? This looks awesome as an application debugger!

I mean, there has to be a literal _wealth_ of data on mask efficiency by now, considering the _wildly_ different mask mandates between countries? If they are effective it should be somehow visible in transmission rates or whatever after and

I live in Västerås which is sometimes touted as one of the, at least, top 10 cycling cities in Sweden with 390 kilometers of cycle/walking paths. And still we have expansive shopping malls outside of town which is heavily in favor or c

Nobody has the camera on at the engineering companies Iv'e worked. My SO though works in school kitchens, and they seem to have cameras on during meetings. I would find that really weird.

I have fond memories from school in the 90s, I think, where I found an irc client which had Tcl scripting. I didn't do anything spectacular but I do remember loving the language at the time.

Its funny with this mask thing. In Sweden we never had very wide mask usage, and I'm not sure what our "CDC" is saying about masks now, but I still think they are very sceptical tbh.

I agree this was not even a close call, also maybe its all due to driver interrupting the autopilot, but this video still shows to many problems for FSD.

Haha, I commented on this exact sort of video, one titled something with "success" where the car somehow managed to get past that monorail but in an extremely sketchy way, way worse than any learner driver would every do. This FSD

In Sweden it has never been hard getting a job as a developer, as far as I know. I have never had to do gruesome coding tests. Just very small ones. Say, finding syntax errors in a page of C++.
