Qubes OS does this with it's disposable VMs. Qubes is super cool. It's just a pity that it also imposes a bit too many constraints (especially related to USB keyboard... For security reasons) and performance penalties to make it a

If only it had more free form (while mathematically exact, e.g. NURBS-based) drawing tools, similar to the NURBS-based tools in Rhino 3D [1], it would be a killer platform for a lot of 3D modelling. [1] https://www.rhino3d.com&#x

I'm afraid the difference in time zones means this post will be on the front at wildly different times in the day for different parts of earth, might quite heavily skew the results. I guess you'll still be able to make your point

I guess not everything would need to lag. As long as you and your peers are working on not the exact same row, a slight network delay might not matter too much, especially if your own typing etc doesn't lag?

The one drawback I did note with Airflow was none of the mentioned ones, but this: It does not allow defining data dependencies at the data level. That is, in terms of individual inputs and outputs of a process or task. I cover this issue i

FreePascal with Lazarus is fantastic. It is so dead simple to use, and mostly just works (e.g. coding up an app on windows, opening it on Linux and hit the compile button, and Done!)

I see a lot of potential in pipeline concurrency, as seen in dataflow (DF) and flow-based programming (FBP). That is, modeling computation as pipelines where one component sends data to the next component via message passing. As long as the
