There will be the occasional free H+ ion but most of them will have paired off. Given a long enough time, there could be a small amount of damage done to the metal. There are ways to get around this by positively charging the vessel or usin

This sort of echos my criticism to the way pharmaceuticals are developed, tested, and regulated. They all treat symptoms and not fix problems. Modern medicine has really advanced in treating acute issues (broken bone, laceration, benign pai

This is a point that Dr. Richard Barkley, one of the major researchers in ADHD in the last few decades, has stated slightly differently. In a sort of jest, he mentions that [ADD] should be called “intention deficit disorder” as there is ple

The benefit of Hydrogen is not as a means of energy distribution but as storage. We have grappled with this problem for a while and it’s becoming more and more pertinent as we transmission to using the electrical grid for more and more. Bat

From your link: > Gaseous hydrogen is molecular hydrogen and does not cause embrittlement This problem seems to occur when you have free H+ ions hanging around, not H2 that is found in liquid and gas used for fuel.

I don’t think those extrapolations are totally fair. You’re assuming today’s technology is frozen, inflexible, and adoption is going to linear. If we have learned anything from the last decade it is that adoption curves are getting steeper.
