This is a bit odd since Adam D' Angelo, the remaining board member from the previous group, is the CEO of Quora which builds a competing LLM, Poe. This came up a lot during the drama a few weeks ago. But Sam Altman went to bat for Adam

This is a great technical analysis of AWS' custom chips and how it can compete with NVidia in the future, at least for AWS services. But: don't all the general points mentioned about AWS also apply to other cloud providers? Micros

This makes sense, let's say that R&D per unit is a similar amount, that would totally explain how Nvidia is able to generate insane 50%+ net profit margins (74% gross margin), higher than FAANG and unheard of for hardware companies

Doesn't add too much more to the official company blog post from a couple of hours ago - but interesting that Sam keeps saying he can't talk about what exactly happened during the board coup. One example from the interview: "

While true that it's not directly linked to OpenAI or Q, this paper is probably going viral now since it is somewhat related to what people know of the Q algorithm, and maybe folks are trying to figure out what it is and how it works,

I'm guessing they did file their Form-990 for 2022, but it's not available in public data sources yet. Probably will be available in a few more months. OpenAI's Form-990s from previous years are all available at https:/
