This is a great technical analysis of AWS' custom chips and how it can compete with NVidia in the future, at least for AWS services. But: don't all the general points mentioned about AWS also apply to other cloud providers? Microsoft is building its own chips for AI as well. Ironically, NVidia's Jensen was at Microsoft Ignite as well when Microsoft announced its chips (just like he was at AWS re:Invent as mentioned in this article).
