It's really cool for sure, but you know what this one man once said "Real artists ship!" Too bad Microsoft didn't put this in a tablet eons ago.

In a nutshell yes. But it's so much better and realtime. You just have to get involved in it to see why it can be quite addicting. Here's a simple hash: LinkedIn => Recruiters Facebook => People you don't want to be friends with; Tw

Great, Microsoft built the Lexus LFA [1] of Tablets. Pseudo-sleek, super expensive and no one knows or gives a damn about it. [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexus_LFA

Amazon EC2 is always a good option. https://www.djangy.com/ looks promising as a Heroku for Django.

Keep an eye on HN Jobs - there will be a flood of listings in the coming weeks/months (there's already one). And Quora as well - here's one to start with - http://www.quora.com/Startup-Internships/Which-startups-will... If you are looking

Looks very nice. I take it you must be using jQuery Mobile or something along those lines? (Minor problem I've encountered - for some reason, I can't land on your homepage from Safari Version 5.0.3 (6533.19.4) on OS X 10.6.5.)

Ok, I am really getting sick of TechCrunch spinning off articles from Quora. It was cute with the Netflix stuff ( http://techcrunch.com/2010/10/04/quora-netflix/ ). Then came the AOL CDs ( http://techcrunch.com/2010/12/27/aol-discs-90s/ ),

The single most important technology that TechCrunch left out: JavaScript and HTML5 (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's more of a spec than a separate technology). More desktop like apps will enter the stage in time for cross mobile compatibilit

In my recent memory, I really liked the way Quora executed on the whole closed beta thing - skim this for more details http://techcrunch.com/2010/03/28/quora-has-the-magic-benchma... Also, http://www.forrst.com has an invitation only ap

I don't deny it as a general trend - but just curious as to why Mr. HotShot recruiter mentioned those three in the same article with startups in it. It's just interesting that quite an overwhelming amount of west coast startups tend to be r

"Right now in New York City every technology company is hiring engineers, programmers, Java developers or PHP/Perl developers,” Carvajal said. “I haven’t seen it this hot since 1997..." Ummm, did they get the quote from 1997 too? I find the

When I was doing my homework for deploying to EC2, I came across that and would highly recommend against it! For one thing, it's main committer is out of the picture and have yet to find a good branch with Rails 3 support. I'd recommend loo

Unless I'm very much mistaken, I don't think the outsourcing of call centers back in the hey-days of AOL was that prevalent. That said, AOL isn't the first company to bank on sending out free stuff to get a lot of customers. I believe Schic

That's the point the OP is trying to make. Btw, on a browser with Flash, you get a popup with flash content instead of actual content on the main page. And the back button breaks (at least to me in Safari in OSX 10.6.5.)

I was just pointing out to the parent comment that it's not just the indentation but also the fact that a lot of things in python, there's one great way to do this is highly prevalent (and rewarded). This allows for easier readability in mo
