After we got hosed by Paypal, I was crying over alternative solutions for creating an escrow solution for our marketplace. These guys saved us a lot of headaches dealing with escrow and helped us get setup at 2 A.M! I was a bit disappointed

Great writeup! As I read it, it also reminded me of this poem "Dulce Et Decorum Est" - http://www.english.emory.edu/LostPoets/Dulce.html

Sweet! Works great on iPhone 4. Background uploading is such a major pain killer that no one here seems to be appreciative of. That's a huuuge technical feat and a major head start and of course am not surprised that JTV guys nailed it. Con

I love Marcus du Sautoy's programmes - he also did some BBC Horizons ones that were particularly interesting - The Secret You was fun and Alan & Marcus Go Forth and Multiply is pretty entertaining and insightful as well.

It just depends on what you want to test for. I find balance in testing for the most important security features such as authentication and stuff that'll most likely change very little. You can speed up RSpec so much by offloading it to Spo

There's some good code in here. If you're of a slightly more of a machine learning bent, consider looking into Collective Intelligence (has great source code as well - http://examples.oreilly.com/9780596529321/ ). It will be a great additi

You're missing my point - a great language (whatever it may be for one's choice) doesn't get in the way of thinking clearly. If that's PHP for you, that's great. I never mentioned any context of web in my statement. Au contraire, python's g

It's simple, If I don't indent properly - I don't get to run my code in python. Yes, I know I can make my code look cleaner in Ruby, but I'm lazy. Call me shallow, but sometimes not having to type in blocks and "end" is kind of nice because

The best part is "the car is entirely powered by silicon solar cells and produces about 1200 watts — the same amount of power required to run a toaster." That's really cool!

Microsoft didn't capitalize on Touch-based computing (a la Surface - didn't imply about pixel sense at all) when they had the chance before. Microsoft labs has a lot of crazy cool stuff, but they don't see daylight in the hands of the consu
