True, but that's all the more reason to "get something out there" without a lot of QA--just do it as a private beta, internal test, prototype, one-off for a single client, etc. If you can't afford to have a bad product a

1. Just get something out there—without obsessing over getting it exactly right the first time 2. When something does go sideways: own up to it, make it right with customers, and learn how to fix your mistake for the future Seems like a lot

Six years ago, I saw a job posting on HN—a YC farming startup was looking for a designer. I joined the two founders, moved to Michigan, and learned more about building companies, products, and teams than I ever imagined at the start. I also

I don’t think an AI assistant and visual feedback like google search are mutually exclusive at all. Imagine a fashion designer having a chat with a human assistant. The designer might tell them a kind of shirt they want to use for a shoot,

I’ve had IFTTT applets running consistently for years for really only one use case: getting texts/emails when people post specific things I want on my local craigslist.

> You can’t tell which seemingly wacky ideas are going to turn out to be right A good philosophy for personal projects and starting companies too, IMO. Seems to be a pattern among indie hacker types.
