From Wikipedia: "The first futures exchange market was the Dōjima Rice Exchange in Japan in the 1730s, to meet the needs of samurai who—being paid in rice, and after a series of bad harvests—needed a stable conversion to coin." Su

In a lot of workplaces whenever one person is out, another person has to make up for it by doing the person who's outs work in addition to their own work. Not saying it will definitely be the case here, but it could be.

Is knowing nothing about a candidate really any worse than knowing only what their paid advertisements tell you?

Does any of this relate to my original question of whether or not junk mail subsidizes regular mail?

Yes, I understand all this which is why I was hoping there was a good study or something done on the matter. Junk mail accounts for 48% of all mail volume, but only 26% of revenue. What would be the effect of increasing the cost of junk mai

That article states that 48% of all mail, or 84B pieces, is junk mail and corresponds to $17B in revenue (works out to 20 cents a piece). Seems to indicate that most revenue comes from non-junk mail. Also, it states nothing about profitabil

That stuff is nice, but this phone is significantly newer (as far as mobile phone go). It looks like the Nexus 6 is coming out in November. I would expect it to have similar specs.

The Nexus 5 is only $350. This phone is nominally cheaper, but I wouldn't say 'killer'. I will think about getting it next time I purchase a phone though (I use a Nexus 5 now).
